Terms And Conditons

The terms and conditions under which ERCOFTAC will publish contributions to the QNET-CFD Silver Knowledge Base are set out below. By registering with the SKB you are, de facto, agreeing to accept and abide by these terms and conditions.

No Contract

The Silver content of the KB is being provided freely. No kind of agreement or contract is created between you and the owners or users of this site, the owners of the servers upon which it is housed, the individual QNET-CFD Knowledge Base contributors, any project administrators, sysops or anyone else who is in any way connected with the QNET-CFD project or sister projects subject to your claims against them directly.

Trademarks

Any of the trademarks, service marks, collective marks, design rights or similar rights that are mentioned, used or cited in the articles of the QNET SKB are the property of their respective owners. Their use here does not imply that you may use them for any other purpose other than for the same or a similar informational use as contemplated by the original authors of the QNET SKB material. Unless otherwise stated ERCOFTAC and the QNET-KB site are neither endorsed by nor affiliated with any of the holders of any such rights and as such ERCOFTAC cannot grant any rights to use any otherwise protected materials. Your use of any such or similar incorporeal property is at your own risk.

Copyright

Material (written word, image, and most other formats) is normally copyrighted. If the user does not own the copyright of all aspects of the material and content he/she contributes to the QNET-SKB , he/she must obtain permission from the copyright owner to publish the material and must acknowledge this permission (published in the QNET-CFD Knowledge Base by permission of ------). Never use materials that infringe the copyrights of others. This could create legal liabilities and seriously hurt ERCOFTAC and the QNET-CFD project. Links to Copyrighted Material It is not necessary to obtain the permission of a copyright holder before linking to copyrighted material. However, if you know that an external Web site is carrying a work in violation of the creator's copyright, you must not link to that copy of the work.

Copyright Violations

Contributors who post copyrighted material without the requisite permissions despite appropriate warnings will be barred from further access to the QNET Silver KB. If you, as a user, suspect a copyright violation, you should bring up the issue on the appropriate discussion pages and send a note to the Editor. The situation can then be examined and action taken if needed.

Offensive or Libellous Content

Users of the Silver KB will not contribute any content or material (whether by word, image or any other format) nor will they advertise or provide links to any content or material which is obscene, offensive, or libellous under the law of England. Should this condition of access and use be contravened, the content or material will be immediately removed and the offender barred from further access to the SKB.
