Data Quality and Accuracy of Measurements

The measurement system was successfully tested on simpler known flow situations and the results of the concentration measurements for the simpler street canyon model AR -1 were successfully compared with the earlier results of Soulhac et al. (2009). The total measurement error of the pollution fluxes was estimated to be less than 5% using ensemble statistics, taking into account the errors of velocity (1%), concentration measurements (4%) and the positioning error of the 3D traverse system (1%). Further details on data quality and accuracy can be found in Nosek et al. (2016, 2017).
