Volumetric time averaged statistics are available in the [http://kbwiki-data.s3-eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/index.html?prefix=DNS-1/2/Channel_180/statistics/ database]. The data is stored in multiple files such that each <code>.pyfrs</code> file contains one quantity. The files which are named <code>avg-xxxx.pyfrs</code> can be interrogated following the guidelines in [[lib:DNS_1-2_format| storage format]] section. The statistical quantities listed in section 3 (tables 1 and 2) of the document - [[:File:List_of_desirable_and_minimum_quantities_to_be_entered_into_the_KB_Wiki.pdf| list of desirable and minimum quantities to be entered into the KB Wiki]], are directly provided or can be calculated from those provided by following the approach described in the appendix B of the document. For example, <code>avg-u.pyfrs</code> is the average streamwise velocity, where as the Reynolds stress, <math>\overline{u'v'}=\overline{uv}-\bar{u}\bar{v}</math>, can be calculated using the data from <code>avg-uv.pyfrs</code>, <code>avg-u.pyfrs</code> and <code>avg-v.pyfrs</code>. To assist end users, the calculation of turbulent kinetic energy budget is demonstrated in a python script, [http://kbwiki-data.s3-eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/index.html?prefix=DNS-1/2/Channel_180 tke_budget.py]. Any other statistical quantity may be calculated in a similar manner.
Volumetric time averaged statistics are available in the [http://kbwiki-data.s3-eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/index.html?prefix=DNS-1/2/Channel_180/statistics/ database]. The database consists of the budgets of the turbulent stress tensor. The data is grouped together by the terms in the turbulent stress budget equation - production, dissipation, pressure-strain correlation, turbulent diffusion, viscous diffusion and pressure diffusion. Each file stores the respective budget term for all the six components of the turbulent stress tensor. The statistical data is obtained by time-averaging and spatial averaging in the streamwise and span wise directions. Thus, the data is along the wall-normal direction in <math>y^+</math> units. The budget quantities are normalized with <math>u_\tau</math> and <math>\delta_\nu</math> as velocity and length scales respectively.

In addition to the budget terms, the profiles of average velocity and turbulent stress tensor are provided in the database.

In addition to the volume data, the quantities described in table 1 of the document cited above, after averaging in the streamwise and spanwise directions, are available in the [http://kbwiki-data.s3-eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/index.html?prefix=DNS-1/2/Channel_180/statistics/spatially_averaged_statistics database]. The budgets of turbulent kinetic energy and components of the Reynolds stress tensor are also provided.
No additional data is provided at the moment.

Volumetric time averaged statistics are available in the database. Thus, the data is along the wall-normal direction in units. The budget quantities are normalized with and as velocity and length scales respectively.

In addition to the budget terms, the profiles of average velocity and turbulent stress tensor are provided in the database.

Additional data

No additional data is provided at the moment.
