See guidance on how volume data should be described.
Volumetric time averaged statistics are available in the [http://kbwiki-data.s3-eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/index.html?prefix=DNS-1/2/Channel_180/statistics/ database]. The database consists of the budgets of the turbulent stress tensor. The data is grouped together by the terms in the turbulent stress budget equation - production, dissipation, pressure-strain correlation, turbulent diffusion, viscous diffusion and pressure diffusion. Each file stores the respective budget term for all the six components of the turbulent stress tensor. The statistical data is obtained by time-averaging and spatial averaging in the streamwise and span wise directions. Thus, the data is along the wall-normal direction in <math>y^+</math> units. The budget quantities are normalized with <math>u_\tau</math> and <math>\delta_\nu</math> as velocity and length scales respectively.

In addition to the budget terms, the profiles of average velocity and turbulent stress tensor are provided in the database.

Volumetric time averaged statistics are available in the database. Thus, the data is along the wall-normal direction in units. The budget quantities are normalized with and as velocity and length scales respectively.

In addition to the budget terms, the profiles of average velocity and turbulent stress tensor are provided in the database.

Additional data

No additional data is provided at the moment.
